This artwork is based on an anatomical heart, the pump that drives our circulatory system and the epicentre of our bodies. The heart has so much significance both physically and figuratively that the viewer can impose their own interpretation and ideas on this piece. The artwork was created by glueing moulded strips of fabric on to a stretched canvas and then painting with acrylic
