I painted this watercolor painting at Lonsdale Quay on the North Shore facing downtown Vancouver across the Burrard inlet on one sunny afternoon in the summer of 2016. I wanted to capture the Sea Bus crossing the Burrard inlet and the shimmering light of the afternoon sun on the water. Capturing the Sea bus was rather difficult as it went up and down but I managed to capture it over a few trips along with the ever changing light.
