Original artwork description:

One from of my new series "Current State." Minimal mixed media piece. Focusing on balance, nature, and consumerism. Calms the busyness of our environment.

If you frame with glass, use spacers because of the found objects on the piece.

Dyanna's creations are an exploration of color, shape, material and juxtaposition. You can often see her obsession with organization, placement and multiples in her work. She appreciates the idea of reuse. Turning items once consumed and discarded, back into a desired piece. Dyanna finds her materials scattered along the west coast. She sees just about everything as a material. Conscious of the consumerism cycle, she'd rather find her materials than buy them.

We live with pollution. It's part of our world, we accept it and it becomes invisible. Dyanna seamlessly adds found material to her work as part of her palette to mimic this idea.

Our culture's obsession with consumerism and vanity also sneaks into Dyanna's work.
