A 3D mixed media original art collage made by painting a series of wooden panels in a spectrum of colour. I use a combination of inks, acrylics, and metallic paint which I carefully mix so that the grain of the wood shows through leaving a fine sheen and texture. Hand-painted birch wood panels in a carefully blended pallet These panels are cut into 1000's of circles. These dots are then meticulously hand-selected and carefully colour composed into these mathematically precise geometric collage panels. The piece incorporates contrasting gold leaf dots. Gold leaf, ink, acrylic, wood stain, gold paint, and watercolour The piece can come ready to hang in this black box frame if you choose which is made from wood and has a UV perspex glaze to protect from fade and for safe shipping.
