2 birds in a boat with a palmtree, no more unreasonable than so much else nowadays!
A small linocut reduction, perfect to frame for the mantel piece or a shelf, or to hang on your wall of course. Choose between the teal or the navy version by sending me a meassage, if no message, I send the teal by default!.
A linocut reduction, means that as I cut away the lino, I print the colors on top of each other, first the areas I want to remain white, this way, I make a "hole" where the ink does not roll up, put on the light teal or the light blue and after that, i cut away, creating that hole, for the next color, and so on until I am done. this is also called lost plate, as after I am done cutting, there is nothing left to print so the number of prints is all there will ever be. One of my favorite printmaking techniques!
The print measures 11" x 13/5" (28 cm x 34 cm ) in the best quality printmaking paper
and the printed area measures 7" x 7/5" (18 cm x 19 cm )
I have numbered the prints, titled them and signed.
The navy version in only 4 prints and the teal version in 6 prints.
Please note, very likely you don't receive the number in the photo.
I ship from my studio in Denmark with many years experience in packing my prints so they arrive safely, see my reviews.
Thanks for looking, come back soon, Mariann
