Original artwork description:

One March I spent some time in Bermuda exploring its beautiful bays. The weather was changeable and I captured photos and sketches of this particular cove not long after a storm. When I decided to turn these into a painting I liked the idea of inhabiting the beach with a turtle blissfully resting up on the sands after an exhausting journey through stormy sea.
