Story behind this painting:
"Tsambou is a beautiful beach on Samos island in Greece. I was there on vacation with my wife in 2006. It is one of the most peaceful places I’ve seen. White round stones, sunny beach surrounded with cliffs, green foliage, and beautiful turquoise water."

In »AQUA« series, as the main medium I use epoxy resin mixed with pigments, acrylic colors and inks. The final result are paintings of a "wet appearance" that pulls them from the crowd, since there are not many artists using similar techniques. Resin paintings bring modern finish and luxury to space.

In this painting I’ve used several layers of High Flow acrylics mixed with Epoxy Art Resin. Edges are painted white before pouring final clear coat of resin, so it has a nice minimalistic finish. Painting is ready to hang, but can also be framed (I often use floating frames).
