‘Treble Clef’ was awarded a coveted gold award at the 2018 AIPP APPAs held in Melbourne in August. I have written an article on the judging of the print which was an incredible experience that I’ll never forget.

This image has engaged judges at the various awards it has been entered receiving comments from various angles and interpretations elicited by the image. Personally, I enjoy viewing all of the people from above, all corralled into position. Above all else, I love hearing the personal interpretations that viewers garner from my work.

‘Treble Clef’ is part of the award-winning series shot in 2017 that was recently awarded 1st in the 2018 IPA Professional Winter Sports sub-category.

The idea behind the series was to capture the interaction of human's with the natural environment. I am drawn to minimal interpretations of the landscape and as such a canvas of clean white snow, coupled with manmade elements helped to draw this idea together.
