Trawlers of this type were common around the coast of Devon and Cornwall until around fifty years ago and usually fishing for a day or two before landing the catch.

This trawler is leaving a very close to shore mooring just after dawn and will soon be fishing.

A gallery wrapped deep profile canvas so no framing is necessary, the painted image is continued around the outer edges of the canvas.

Supplied ready to hang.
