A little oil painting inspired by Sennen Cove in Cornwall. A wonderful surfing beach with very pale sand and dark rocks. The colours are beautiful even on a cloudy day. I've used paintbrushes and palette knives to get a contrast of sand and rocks and then scratched into the paint.
