Original artwork description:

An impressionistic oil painting of a view from the pier looking towards the old West Pier. It was a stormy day and the waves were crashing onto the Brighton beach. It was quite busy weekend so there were quite a few people who defied the weather.

I enjoyed capturing the Georgian buildings with all the different heights and subtle shades. The stormy clouds were a joy to capture with those contrasting greys as the wind buffeted the clouds North. The churning sea were many shades of green, frothed into white.
