Artist's description:

Towards the Arrochar Alps – from Bein Dubh, above Luss. Watercolour and ink by Julie Arbuckle Scottish Artist.

A short hill walk up the grassy slopes of Beinn Dubh, which stands behind the Lochside village of Luss on the Banks of Loch Lomond. Brilliant views to the North West of the Arrochar Alps; The Cobbler, Beinn Narnain and Beinn Ime clearly visible.

I did this walk early in March one year after recovering from a fractured metatarsal, so needed it to be a short walk! It is an easy walk with great pay-off in terms of views. Also very do-able on a short trip from Glasgow.
