This small oil painting depicts a robin perched on a branch looking sideways as if momentarily distracted by something in its peripheral vision.
The robin's breast is a vibrant red-orange hue, contrasting beautifully against the subtle grey-blue of its head and back. The bird is set against a dark green, leafy background; rendered in tones of deep emerald and forest green- but slightly blurred, allowing the robin to stand out more prominently in the composition.

The painting was done alla prima and comes ready to hang. It has been signed at the back and comes with a signed certificate of authenticity.
