Tina Modotti, She was an Italian photographer and activist who lived in Mexico during 1923-1930, she met great artists such as Antonieta Rivas Mercado, Diego Rivera, Clemente Orozco, David Alfaro Siqueiros and Frida Kahlo. She was a disciple of Edward Weston, a well-known photographer internationally, it is said that several of her photographs were actually by Modotti. She was an artist who represented Mexican culture in a more human and real way, without being pretentious or stereotypical.
