I have always loved the allure of big cats. I am fascinated by the colors and patterns of their coats and the intensity of their eyes. In this painting I captured a tiger cub in He looks as if his interest has been captured by something. Maybe a bird in a nearby tree. This is my first in a series of colored pencil paintings of big cat cubs. 11 1/2 x 8 colored pencil on watercolor paper coated in multiple layers of matte varnish.
