Original artwork description:

A painting of a thistle, Scotlnands emblem, the thistle has a beautiful flower head in shades of deep pink to purple and the inevitable jaggy or prickly stem. This would make a lovely gift for someone who has left Scotland behind or maybe just a wee memento for yourself. In Scotland, the thistle is often called a "jaggy bunnet". This particular one is painted on a pale green background and comes with a mini easel. The images show the painting on the easel and there is also a photo to indicate how it might look in a frame.

Materials used:

Canvas board, Acrylic paint
