Taking the time to slow down, to be in Nature and really explore her beauty. To feel the movement and the breeze; to listen to the birdsong; to breathe in the scent…This Soulful Moment.

Responding to these natural influences, my visual memories and the feeling of the warm summer breeze on my face, I apply layers of paint, scribing through with my palette knife to express movement as I seek to convey the essence of ‘being there’.

Executed with professional oil paints on high quality stretched canvas, with universal primer, and with softwood stretchers. Canvas size is 20 x 20 x 2 cm depth. The image is extended on the sides of the canvas creating a 3-D effect. The painting is professionally framed set within a contemporary white wood frame to beautifully compliment this piece.
