Artist's description:

Illustrating a section of the Anglesey coastal path in Wales, The Walk to Church Bay is a lovely linocut print of a favourite view. The church spire rises above the cluster of white washed houses in the distance as the tide slowly comes up the beach below. It would make a beautiful addition to a coastal home or as a present for anyone who loves the coast.

Linocuts are a form of printmaking developed in the early 20th century when artists such as Picasso experimented with the technique. I love working in this medium and uses it to create nostalgic prints of the British coast. Inspired by old railway posters and artists such as Kyffin Williams, I hand cut and print each artwork at my studio near Rutland Water, England.

The linocut is carefully hand printed with an antique cast iron press using high quality inks on archival printmaking paper. It comes mounted in a pale cream acid free mount (mat) and is wrapped in cellophane and tissue paper.

Part of a limited edition of 50, each linocut is signed and numbered.
