Original artwork description:

Twice a day. every day the tide comes in and covers the 'Buffalos'. On Monhegan, an island of the coast of Maine, these rocks are covered by seaweed and twice a day they are uncovered and stand lumbering in the cove where three Cormorants, 'the three amigos' come to sun themselves. I love watching there and also seeing their snakey necks above the water as they fish. Maine is an inspiration to me in my mind and spirit.

Materials used:

Canvass on wood stretchers, acrylic paints and ink, Acrylic gel varnish for protection
