Here is a study of the old childhood experiment of attaching two tins together with string and using it to amplify their voices much like a telephone. It is also a simple table top composition with the tins carefully arranged. Colour relationships, line, tone and texture are emphasised more than detail. The subtleties of Morandi were in my mind at the time , with an obvious reference to Warhol..
