The Small Isles make up part of the Inner Hebrides and are depicted here under a very stormy sky. I may not like stormy weather but love to paint stormy skies and in this part of the world the sea changes through a variety of greens and blues in spite of the dark sky. The composition of this painting is continued on the edges almost creating a 3D effect and allowing it to be hung without framing if so desired.
