Original artwork description:

Drawing inspired by the brilliance of Andy Warhol, a proponent of the idea that a supermarket was no different from a museum, so works of art are no different from products. And indeed, for the American artist, that was just the way things were. Art, in fact, was a business opportunity as long as, of course, it was communicated in the right way. The work is interpreted through the iconic "Bitter Campari ", a champion of "made in Italy", whose products are sold and consumed all over the planet: such red elixir is known all over the world, its iconic advertisements have set the standard. Famous is his reflection on pleasure: "What if the real pleasure is already now? Yes, before everything begins, when the atmosphere is loaded with promises and your head with stories to live, when nothing can disappoint you, because everything can still happen and you foretaste an encounter, a glimpse, the idea of a different ending. After all, is it not true that the waiting for pleasure is itself pleasure?".

Materials used:

ink on cardboard
