The title of the painting is an allusion to a quote from philosophical work of Pavel Florensky (a known Russian philosopher and theologian of the early 20th century): "If there is Rublev's Trinity, then there is God".
This painting was created using professional oil paints Schmincke as well as handmade paints out of natural pigments including semiprecious stones (such as: afghan lapis lazuli, malachite, glauconite, jarosite, cinnabar, land ochers, and some others) mixed with safflower oil.
Superb linen canvas (Lanificio Prato, Italy) is stretched over gallery wooden frame (4 cm/ 1.5 inch frame depth) making contemporary appearance of the painting (framing is not required, but can be done upon one’s desire). This painting will be shipped rolled in a tube (should be re-stretched upon delivery)
