One of the true wonders of Nature is the flash of lightning in the sky. In Mythical times it was considered to be a message from the Gods, in expressive terms it is said “Lightning never strikes twice” meaning take the opportunity being offered it may not appear again. Now we understand it as an electrical discharge in the clouds but no terminology can diminish the sheer awe when the heavens are full of its striking effect. Acrylic and mixed media on a quality Beech wood board ready for framing.
