Original artwork description:

This Oil Pastel on Black Paper drawing was done “en plein air“ from our hotel balcony on the second morning. The subject of this drawing was the small sacred island in the middle of the picture that was named the Pearl of the Lake by the Thao (Saou) Aboriginal settlers many years ago. They believed it’s position in the middle of the lake at the intersection of the sun and moon lakes made it a pearl that the two dragons (sun and moon) were fighting over. It was a quite a bright cloudy and misty morning. This picture can also be put in sequence with two other morning drawings to create a panoramic view of the whole lake.
A note to International Buyers:
Shipping rates have increased in price all around the world due to Covid and other complications. Due to this I have had to increase the the cost of shipping my artworks in line with the Delivery Companies. I will always strive to find the cheapest possible option for the customer (usually my local POST OFFICE EMS Recorded Delivery, but unfortunately they don’t deliver worldwide at the moment) If the amount of shipping charged at purchase is less than the shipping company charges then I will refund the difference to the customer. This refund will be done after the picture has arrived safely and has been accepted.
Any import duties, taxes and charges that may be payable are not included in the item price or shipping cost. These charges, if applicable, will be the responsibility of the buyer. Please message me to check if this might affect your purchase.
