Artwork description:

I was always fascinated by ancient puzzles that represent legends and myths. And of course "The apple of Eden" is one of my favorites.
It's always a question why is the apple and not a banana or mango?
I presume it's its spheric shape that has been dominating the rest of the fruits cultivated in ancient Europe.
This image is a part of the project dedicated to ancient legends.
"The Moth" is a legend that came to Europe from ancient China. It tells of a young woman ready to sacrifice her life in order to save the life of her child, to become a moth and burn in the flame of a torch.
This photograph is executed by means of multiple exposures and is slightly manipulated in terms of contrast and noise reduction.

Materials used:

Giclée Fine-Art Print - Hahnemühle Photo Rag Bright White, 310 gram, 100% cotton, museum-quality for highest age resistance.
