Artwork description:

This screen print was created during my first years in London. I was inspired by the vibrant and dynamic lifestyle of the large city. As I just started to use Illustrator to make projects for the screen prints, my approach to it was playful and intuitive.

"The Moth" is one of the most “intense” composition among the cycle presented here. It has many layers and the process of printing was very complicated. That is why it has some small imperfections which overall add tactile qualities to the character of the print.
Red zigzags are placed on the yellow background. I added a bit of grey in the corners to soothe the intense atmosphere, built by red and black geometrical shapes. The focal point of the composition is an orange form that resembles an exotic bug or a moth trapped in the circle.

It is hand pulled limited edition screen print. Printed with acrylic paints on Southbank Smooth paper. I used 5 different, specially mixed colors. The print is signed and numbered on the front.
For shipment will be carefully packaged rolled in a tube.
It looks best while framed.
