Even in the hardest of times, children give us the strength to rejoice. Their carefree lives are not filled with thoughts of the future and thoughts of the past, they feel great in the present. It is this childish creation of the world, inquisitiveness, wisdom, that I want to show in my art. One day, on another gloomy day in every sense of the word, I was playing with my daughter. The little girl was so interested in blowing soap bubbles and popping them with her little finger that the moment inspired me to create this piece. In my art I try to capture the joy of the moment.
The coloring in my paintings is bright and sunny, I believe that art should carry a positive message to the viewer and energize them to positivity. I combine a minimalistic background of pink and blue with a realistically painted figure, thus focusing on the main character and his inner world. The pink color symbolizes dreaminess and infantilism, the blue represents the vast ocean of possibilities open to everyone.
