The memory of history is created from the impressions of living in Berlin. I was impressed by the Reichstag building and its surroundings. History is created by different people and only places, buildings and things are silent about what they saw. They seal the epochs in themselves, they are saturated with the meaning and ideas of those years when they served man. This special painting is created from charcoal, acrylic and oil. the mixture fills the canvas with the outlines of the landscape with the Reichstag building. The building vibrates, the line of water in the foreground disappears, the landscape around seems either modern or from the past. Perhaps this is the first work of a large series. How did she respond to you?
