A vibrant triptych painted without sketching. Masks are very familiar in my African Culture, African masks are used as religious objects to commune with spirits of ancestors, animals, and the divine. They are worn during masquerades to mark life stages, natural cycles, and celebrations. In Europe the Psychological dimension of wearing a mask is to say “to hide your true feelings.
Painted on 400gsm paper. The paintings will need framing.
