It all started innocently enough, a dog walk in the beautiful Peaks. I saw some Mandarin Ducks in their full regalia. It was a beautiful sight. The colour of their feathers was borrowed for this painting.
By the way, did you know that For Koreans, mandarin ducks represent peace and fidelity.
