I loved this pose as it captures a moment of waiting patiently (or not!) for her next moment on stage. We have all been there in life! We seem to be at that stage now, waiting for things to improve. I thought it captured a mood that was all around me. It also captures the life of a dancer in one moment. Spending half her life on stage and half in the shadows waiting for the spotlight. I also loved her fairy costume which was a lavender/lilac tulle. Beautiful. I used Derwent Watercolour on watercolour paper.
