In this series of works I express my passion for watercolors. For me they are a technique of immediacy, of the ability to grasp the aspects of reality in an instant, restoring an equally sudden, fleeting image.
In this series I represent landscapes where even small figures can emerge. In this work I wanted to immortalize the kite seller walking on the shoreline under an immense sky near the storm that was advancing on the horizon. People ran away, while the peddler seemed very quiet, and the colorful kites hovered in the leaden gray of the battle that was about to burst into the sky like colored stars.
These watercolors are made bright by a passpartout and a white frame.
