Artwork description:

It is a wonderful thing to know your place in the world, rule over your domain, and not long for more than what you have!
"The King" is printed from 2 lino plates, the bottom plate is rolled up in colors, I roll up very freehand, so there are variations from print to print, no print is exactly like the next, on top of this, I print the actual mushroom shapes and the King, the frog.
All my linocuts are handprinted by me, the artist, and I sign, title and number each print.
"The King" is printed in a short edition of 50 prints,
please note, you might not receive the number seen in the photograph and there are color variations.

The linocut itself measures 38 cm x 29 cm (15" x 11.5")
and the beautiful piece of warm white Zerkall
printmaking paper measures 45cm x 40cm (18" x 16")

Linocuts are wonderful graphic pieces of printmaking, that can make for a real focal point in your room, you are so welcome to ask me about framing advice etc. The home interior photo is not entirely to scale.
