Its mid-March, the weather is pleasant with sunny days. The first thawed patches appear in the forest... I wrote this sketch in mid-March on the edge of the Mainovsky forest. After drying, I added rooks as staffages.
The painting was painted from life with high-quality oil paints, on Italian linen canvas Lanificio Prato.

The picture is packed in a thick soft plastic wrap, then covered with hardboard on both sides. Then everything is packed in a rigid foam box, which is all tightened with tape. Then the box is packed in a dense black plastic mail bag.
