It is part of the my Birds series. Birds are recurring motifs in my creative life, I have a natural attraction for them. Symbols of freedom, inspirations for the aircraft, who also moved into cities together with us with the advent of the modern age. Different birds have different characters.

When I’m painting with wax, because of the characteristics of the material, I had to consider every stroke. First, I have to decide which colour I want to use and where I want to use it, because the wax dries quickly on the brush too, not just on the picture. Therefore, using acrylic is a meditative activity where I can follow my spontaneous ideas and go with the flow. This is how these abstract organic forms are born from my unconscious and my very strong and often dominant rational self gives meaning and lifts them from the total abstraction.
