Original artwork description:

Small pastel study of my interpretation of the story of Adam and Eve. It is an artwork that combines imagery with narrative; storm clouds gathering signify the dark times looming, a single withered leaf suggests that all is not well. Eve's innocent and smiling face unaware of the gravity of what is to come. It has been painted with hard and soft pastels using strong, bold colours.

It is sold unmounted and unframed. It measures approximately 22cms X 28cms and has a border to allow for mounting and framing.

It is discreetly signed under the bottom left-hand apple. A certificate of Authenticity will be supplied.

This artwork has very minimal fixative applied to avoid dulling the colours. It will be covered in crystal paper and snugly fitted between to pieces of cardboard to protect it on its journey to its new home. It will require mounting and framing to protect its delicate surface.

I am a keen recycler and send my artworks well-wrapped using recycled packaging whenever possible.

Artists' quality soft and hard pastels, and Pastelmat paper.
