Shimmering gold painted butterflies fall out from their neat rows of the parade lines. Gold leaf splatters follows the path of the butterflies’ departure. Life very rarely sits in near rows, chaos is never far away.

In this piece the disruptor is a larger gold leaf butterfly disturbing it’s gold painted counterparts.

Every butterfly is cut, folded and glued with precision. The delicate raised wings create beautiful shadows, which give the artwork movement and variation in different lights. I paint three layers of high quality artist acrylic to obtains rich pigment. This piece is framed in a ready made black frame.

I ship within 72 hours of an order. Your artwork will arrive carefully wrapped in cardboard and I use recycled materials wherever possible.
