I took this photo as the UK started emerging from the first Covid-19 lockdown. So lovely to see people enjoying themselves in nature in the River Lea, Clapton, East London.
The cyanotype process uses a mixture of iron compounds, which when exposed to UV light and washed in water oxidise to create Prussian Blue images.
Materials used:
Paper, ferric ammonium citrate and potassium ferricyanide, water, photo negative
