I am inspired by nature in all its demonstrations - whether it is the first leaf that opens in spring or ammonite dissected from stone, which is millions of years old.
Paleoart is a huge part of my work so this is an amazing opportunity to combine two favorite themes in a one artwork - paleo and wildlife art, because Chambered Nautilus is a living fossil. The oldest fossils of the species are known from Early Pleistocene (2.580 to 0.773 million years ago) sediments deposited off the coast of Luzon in the Philippines.
