The Blind Singers reflects an impression I had on the Charles Bridge in Prague in the far 1994. I was walking along the bridge from the Old Town of Prague to the New Town when I heard some very dramatic voices that were splitting the air and I have wondered what was going on. When I approached the source of these powerful voices I found out there were three blind musicians there. The two women were singing while the man was only playing the accordion.
I could only hope the painting conveys part of the feeling I have experienced that moment.
