I was impressed by the dynamic of petals from those still sleeping in the bud and some of those just opening. The birth of a flower is emphasized by the light-dark contrast between light petals and dark backgrounds. Drawing is a combination of pencil and charcoal technique. Charcoal is used in dark parts of the bud and in backgrounds.
