Original painting oil on canvas. " The Big Wave" it's a painting inspirited in the big waves in Nazare in Portugal, where the braves Surfers playing in enormous waves.
Foam on top of the wave and the darker blue making the deep of the wave in the shape that near to break.
Used the Impasto technique and strokes and in a mix of Impressionism and abstract style. the texture of the oil paint gives more intensity and contrast. A monochromatic painting in blue and white.
