Artist's description:

This piece of art is called an acrylic peel. You create it by pouring paint, adding mixed media (paper, glitter, beads, ribbon, whatever you'd like), letting it all dry, then peeling it up from the base. Either side of the artwork can be used - one is shiny and the other is matte. It's fun to pick out figures and objects that you see in the abstract art! I've mounted this one on foam core and framed it for a polished look. I teach classes periodically on how to create these fun and unique works of art. This one is one of my favorites. It reminded me of a wind and sandstorm so I called it 'Tempete de Sable' which means sandstorm in French.

Thanks for looking at my art!
