Artist's description:

From the series "The extent of the catastrophe" find the work "Tea harvest": Color woodcut print made from several print blocks. Although being part of a numbered edition, each print from the series is unlike another as colors and stroke vary.

The work " The extent of the catastrophe" consists of both wood blocks and prints. The subjects refer to press photos, which have been published after the tsunami and nuclear catastrophe. The artistic technique refers to traditional Japanese woodblock print making.

Through a long-term study a growing and changing ensemble of blocks and prints emerges, which aims to confront media volatileness and shrinking public awareness.

I have already sold one print of Tea harvest on artfinder.

Comes with a simple paper passpartout, carefully wrapped in paper and best protected for mail transport.

The artwork is signed on the front and accompanied with a certificate of authenticity.
