Original artwork description:
I made this Line & Wash sketch whilst visiting Cumbria with the family in 2019. After tea in Hawkshead we drove to the Tarn and I sat on the southern path that winds around the Tarn while the family played nearby. The area is beautiful and secluded but is highly accessible to all with the wheelchair friendly path although we were able to hike a little further afield.
Materials used:
Windsor & Newton artist quality watercolours; Cobolt Blue, Light Red, Raw Sienna on Saunders Waterford 200lb paper.
