One of my favorite drawing topics is tall ships. I made many different versions of the brig Niagara. This is a very beautiful ship with a long history. It is based in the city of Erie where I live and I can enjoy the view just by walking along the waterfront. Sails always give me a romantic mood and this is what I wanted to convey in this painting. I hope you can feel it.
