The curves creep between the lines making the structure increasingly fluid. If, since the Elementary Structures of Everyday Life, I work constructively with the relationships between right angles, since the last two works, curves have started to take over the pictorial scene. Such forms are a consequence of the research developed in the series of works done for Carré d’Artist, mainly in the Kurt Seligman Variations.
I think of Matisse when I realize that terms such as structure, symmetry, stability, order, clarity and construction claim the participation of intelligence in an expression based on sensations.
The color palette has also undergone gradual changes after I discovered the combination of permanent green with phytalocyanine blue and white and / or black or gris de paine.
In technical terms, permanent pens have replaced, although not completely, Conté crayons.
