For no reason other than the fact that I love swimming, I created this hand painted A4 poster featuring a swimmer in a small pool surrounded by hand painted text explaining some basic pool rules. It was done in acrylic paint on thick paper and the blue and green was added using a paint roller. I feel that it mixes my two favourite styles of art in one, abstract and graphic/pop art.
A friend said it looks quite Wes Anderson-esque, which is fine by me!
It is painted in acrylics on thick A4 acrylic paper. PLEASE NOTE: the painting doesn't come framed, but I've taken photos of it in a black A4 frame for display purposes. So the third image best represents what you'll be getting.

I've been inspired to create work like this by classic pop artists like Andy Warhol, Roy Lichtenstein and Patrick Caulfield.
