I like still lifes. I am most captivated by the fact that they are so dead, they lack life, it's like looking at your own life from hiding, painted fruit, bread, flowers, supposedly so well-known, but so insensitive and meaningless.
These are small works, they will fit perfectly into a larger composition on the wall, or they will add flavour to small spaces.
